Testify to Love

Big Hayes and Little Hayes. Big grin for the BEST NEWS EVER! Papaw Hayes is cancer free! God is so good. I am so thankful for the prayers and the promise that God answers them. I have been diligently asking for healing in our family and praying for Papaw to be strong through his treatments. We were all so worried that he would not be strong enough to beat the cancer... and I should have known that God would take care of it. Shame on me. He is faithful and honors our requests. I have never rejoiced so much in the fact that my prayers were answered. No cancer to be found--anywhere. Compared to the 3-6 month prognosis we got originally this is a miracle! I know who the credit goes to for that. Thank you God for giving my Papaw more time to be here with me and my family. I know we all love him being here. Looking forward to Easter to celebrate my salvation and this healing.

Sweet Cheeks

Sunday morning we got up early and had breakfast before church. Hayes played and was so sweet... until he fell asleep on my chest. Heavenly baby time. He's so precious. I just say huge thanks for him every day.

Look at those CHEEKS!

First Bandaid

Today we went to the dr.... I thought we were going for a well visit. I had NO idea we were supposed to get shots! I wasn't happy about that. We talked with the doctor about the immunization schedule... I'm going to have to do some more research before I agree to many more of those things. I did agree to a few today, but only after the doctor and I talked about them. Hayes got 2 shots--one in each leg. He was a trooper and I'm pretty sure I cried more than he did! He'd just eaten and had a full belly so he fell asleep as soon as we left the office. So far so good! After he got home he was all smiles... for the hour he was awake.

Cute Hat

Thanks to my mother in law for this SUPER cute hat! It is my favorite... Daryk doesn't share the same feeling!

Bathtime Fascination

Hayes loves the bathtub. He talks to himself and anyone who will listen about the bath tub. He loves to look at himself in the mirror and roll around the counter. You have to keep a close eye on him or he'll arch himself right off. Aunt Patsy says that is a sign of things to come... I'm assuming that means he will be strong or stubborn... or both! Either way--I'll look forward to them both.

State and My Anniversary

My husband and his wrestlers won STATE! Sean has been coaching for 13 years and Daryk for 9... its about time! They are so proud and being there to share that was memorable to say the very least. State is held every February at the Gwinnett Arena--awesome venue. I will say that traveling with the baby was a challenge and we made it through. Lucky me that state will always fall the week of my anniversary! I get a card and this year I got a state title! So exciting.
