Take 2... Take 57.... #willshouldnotbeinchargeofthecameraever

I was blessed with two baby sisters.
God saw fit to give me a few more soliders in my sibling army, but these girls are the originals.
Bless them.
They have been my little sisters for 30 and 26 years.
I wouldn't want to do life along with ANYONE else.
Both of them happened to marry really fantastic guys.
Occasionally we get to enjoy time together!
This dinner was a FIRST for all of us and it was awesome!
I so enjoy spending time with the guys and the girls too!
The conversation was interesting and the laughter never stopped.
After dinner we ventured off to dessert....
And we asked Sir William Pitts to come take our photo.
There were about 90 pictures that looked like this one below... before we got to the ONE shot that looked acceptable.

Just one shot.

most of them look like this...

Man, I love these people.

Finally, summer!

Strategically placed baby bell blocks the nekkid baby bottom.

Oh, this one.
I love her so.

And him.
When did he get so grown up?
I miss chubby hands.

Ice cream in the yard daily.
Or driveway.

And the Queen was pushing the Princess around the yard for good measure.

I love sweet summertime.

Elizabeth turns 4.

This sassy girl turned 4 today!  She is stubborn and has a vocabulary that most grown folks strive to use.  She is vibrant and funny and she keeps us laughing.  She is a wonderful child and an absolute challenge to raise.  Proud to be her momma.

Bebe turns 37, again.

Mom turned 37 again this year.  Not sure how that works, since I'm 32... but whatever.  We had all these grand plans for her birthday weekend.  We were planning to take her to lunch and then go get our toes done together.  The 4 girls.  We made plans and forgot to tell mom.

Oops.

Thankfully it all worked out and she didn't have major plans anyway.  We managed a fancy lunch and some yummy dessert along with fancy toes.  I'm pretty sure we all had a blast.

I would complain about the fact that I'm the only one without glasses on my face.  But you wouldn't be able to see their eyes anyway, because I think they're all sorta Asian....

Be Our Guest Dining Disney World

Our first day at Magic Kingdom we were lucky enough to get reservations for the Be Our Guest lunch at Beast's Castle.  I selected our meals prior to our trip and they were ready for us shortly after we sat down.  Hayes refused to eat ANYTHING while we were there and finally fell asleep sitting in the booth.  I know he was tired because he hasn't fallen asleep while sitting up since he was a tiny tot.  Spencer was really pleased to get to eat some lunch while the rest of us waited for ours.

That's my cupcake.  With 'The Grey Stuff' that they sing about in Beauty and the Beast.   And just for the record, it was delicious and my dishes didn't get any of it.

After lunch we let the kids have ice cream.  Libby makes a giant mess while she eats hers.  Hayes barely touched his enough to eat it.

Its Wedding Day

About a month ago my gorgeous sister got married.  Not this one, the other one.  They are both gorgeous though!  I was so proud to stand by her side as she married one of my favorite men in the whole world.  We are thrilled to have Buddy as an official part of the family now.  I am not sure how he feels, but I know the Cochrans love having him around and cannot wait for him to be back home!  The wedding was an absolute blast!  We spent time with some of our Charleston family and we had a grand time.  The food was fantastic as well.  We had a low country boil on Friday night and gourmet grilled cheese on Saturday.  Actually, we had a lot of food on Saturday, but I don't remember much past the giant ice cream sandwich I had.  I almost died from chocolate overload.  God bless the ice cream truck.  Heavenly!  I love weddings!
So, send me an invite!
My fellow matron of honor, Kitty.
Two of my lovelies--Jordan and Elizabeth waiting out the rain.

My kids were rock stars for this wedding!  It was awesome to watch them!
Also, aren't they so beautiful & handsome!?

Mr & Mrs Orol dining al fresco after the vows...

Dance party for the bride and groom.
Love you both!
We cannot wait to see how God blesses your life together.

Typical Libby

At this house we try to offer the little ones dessert every now and again.  If there is ice cream in the house, they are eating it.  We don't buy it terribly often for that very reason.  That, and I like to eat it with Butterfingers or Oreos.  Trying not to eat ice cream while pregnant has proven to be VERY difficult for me this go round.

This girl right here doesn't miss a drop.  She's not going to let one sprinkle hit the floor.  She will not miss one bit, one drop, one tiny little bitty piece... She plans to get them all somehow.  She does this with every single bowl we fix her.

After dinner and dessert she props herself up on the couch using a dinner napkin as her blanket.  It was her 'covers' for the relaxing 'digestion nap' she needed.

Peanut Butter Brownie Buddies aka: Satan's Snack Mix

Link to recipe
The original recipe of Satan's Snack Mix

I found this recipe when I was 'working' this summer with my favorite cross county girls.
We spend a few weeks/days working together each summer swapping stories, sharing snacks, and working!
It is NEVER dull and we laugh the whole time we are there.
I made us a low cal  chocolatey peanut butter treat in June.
It was heavenly and I'd bet you have most of the ingredients in your house right now.
Go do it, you won't regret it.
Well... maybe not too much....

Practice Round in Pictures

My sister Kathryn got married on Saturday.
We had the rehearsal dinner on Friday at Foxhall Sporting Club.
It was a fantastic time had by all and I will show you via pictures.
The evening started with a super short rehearsal and a great dinner.
We played corn hole, bocce ball, and walked around barefoot.
The kids got backpacks, chalk, coloring books, and bubbles.
Kitty knows the way to their hearts!
The food was amazing and I'll be visiting food trucks more often!
After dinner and dessert the food truck ended up stuck at Foxhall.
Always an adventure with our events...

This is Sir William Pitts and his new BFF Hayes.
They threw the bean bags way high in the sky and Hayes loves him.
These are my amazing and beautiful sisters.
I couldn't love them more.

This is the gorgeous couple enjoying the evening.
Cutest little girl I know...
He was sharing his cookie.
Write it down, doesn't happen often...

My sister, the bride.
Her wedding weekend was the best one I've ever been a part of.
Can we have a do over?
The bubbles in action.
We shall call it the blur.
The best babysitter/extra sibling ever.
Seriously, my entire family was so thankful for her help this weekend.
Couldn't have done it without her!
Probably a more accurate representation of the relationship...
And my amazing momma.
I appreciate her so much.
Her love is endless and her work is never done.

And the man of my dreams.
He's got tattoos and he watches weird movies.
He told my cousins this weekend that he wasn't the "Ken" I had dreamed of...
but he's perfect for me.
I'd marry him again any day of the week.

and just for the record....
I love his gray hair and my lipstick.

Have bat, will travel.

Oh, you know, typical Saturday picnic at BeBe and PaPa's house.
Lunch on the veranda.
It was a very light lunch of nutella sandwiches and cheetos.
Elizabeth enjoys them a little too much.
She peels the bread apart and eats the nutella off the bread.
Occasionally she actually eats the bread, but not often.

Notice the bat in the background.
It went with us all weekend.
I'm thinking it will disappear soon...
Yeah, so?

Cheer Conference 2013

Last week I got to go with our coaching staff to a conference at the Ritz Carlton.
Um, yes.
It was that gorgeous.
The view from our cottage was amazing.
The lodge itself was amazing.
It made for a lovely run on Saturday afternoon.
The scenery was gorgeous.
The food was even better.
See?
Dinner on Friday night was steak with yummy vegetables and delicious sauce.
I die.
And dessert was this crazy chocolate lava cake thing...
It didn't get a picture because I inhaled it.
This was my breakfast leftovers.
Fresh orange juice and my fruit cup.
I finished it off though.
I'm not a quitter.
No sir.
I also had about 14 muffins, grits, eggs, and some more asparagus.
Makes your pee smell funny, but I love it.

While I was at the fanciest hotel I've ever been to in my life...
these guys went to play at the mall with their dad.
Ignore her mullet hair do.
Dad hair.

Minus one coach, but I love my girls!
Good looking bunch of ladies!

My Fitness Pal

Wooohoooo!
I get my own little party and such for logging in for 25 days.
I used to skip the weekends, but I've learned that helps me stay focused.
25 whole days.
I can't do anything else for 25 whole days.
I've been logging all food and exercise for 25 entire days.
I've been pretty honest about it too.
There are some reallllllllllllly ugly days in there.
Yesterday was one of them.
O'Charleys and the rolls...
Red Lobster and the rolls/biscuits/yummy goodness...

But, this--well this is dessert.
I love dessert.
Minimal chocolate and lots of fruit for dessert.
I'd like to reverse the quantities and just shovel chocolate in my mouth.
Or possibly just squirt the chocolate syrup straight into my mouth....
I refrain from both.
Instead, just eating the mostly fruit and sorta chocolate dessert.
Annnnnnddddddddd I just love it.

What's your favorite healthy dessert recipe?
I mean, is that even possible?

Natural Hair Products

She had a cupcake.
She used the icing as hair gel.
Notice the fancy duck butt she's got sticking out the back...
Y'all, she is a mess and has to get a bath after every meal.
Sunday she got 3 baths!
Out. of. control.

Cupcakes for Dessert

The babies got some dessert from our sweet friends at school.
I'm pretty sure the frosting and the crumbs were the best part.
My kids never turn down sweets, but neither do I, so.......
