Praises and pretty faces

I'm pretty confident that I'm keeping my job! YAY! My mother in law was placed in the hospital this past weekend due to some gall bladder issues. She will have that removed today at 3 pm. Friday night she had a mild heart attack also. She's getting stronger and slowly recovering. Hopefully after they remove her gall bladder today she'll be in good shape! Keep praying for her and for my boys as they travel back and forth to Savannah to be with their momma. I know me and Hayes are very anxious to see her again soon.

Learning to Breathe

God has been dealing with my heart a lot this week about being a mom. I figure I have some tough decisions ahead of me. I'm so thankful for the wonderful examples I have in my life. My granny, my grandmothers, my mommy, my aunts, my step mom, my mother in law... all wonderful women who help to show me the right things to do and how to love my baby. Loving him won't always mean doing what he wants, but what he needs. I'm so thankful that he only needs love, clean diapers, and food these days!
I received news today at school that a job will be cut from my department. My name is on the list for people who could potentially be cut. Please be in prayer that I keep my job and that if I lose my job our finances are able to sustain. Love you all.

He rolls...

Master Hayes has figured out how to push himself over from back to belly. I figure this is one of many things he will learn rather quickly in the next few months. He is such a fireplug (as Jack calls him) and so spunky. I enjoy listening to him as he babbles and coos at us. I feel certain that he will be a talked just like his mommy and daddy. Our house will never be quiet! He has discovered his hands and is possibly starting to cut some teeth. We went to the doctor last week and he weighed 14 lbs and some change! Guess he's eating well, huh?!

Easter Smiles

We had a fantastic Easter service at church that Hayes slept through--of course. What a blessing that he is such a good sleeper. We had a fantastic time visiting at the Minish Estate as well. Got to see everyone minus the DC crew! This is Spring Break for us and we are 'breaking' at the lake with all the pollen. We went to see Leigh Anne in Tuscaloosa yesterday. We all enjoyed some Summer Snow and some great food! Today has been filled with NAPS and pollen! Thank you God for the floating yellow particles that make me appreciate the flowers!
