Miss Piggy

I can't even begin to explain how much I love being home with this baby girl! She is so much fun. She has just started to smile like a silly baby and we are really having a good time. I've got 2 weeks left before I have to go back to work.... start praying for me now!
And yes, those are rolls on her arms. She has some serious fat cheeks. She also has rolls on her feet, legs, and don't get me started on trying to wipe or clean the rolls during a diaper change or a bath. Not starving. She is not starving.

School

Hayes has been going to school for almost a month now. He has days when he is hesitant about going, but today was not that day! He jumped out of my arms and just about RAN into the room shaking his backpack off while moving quickly to his table of friends. I don't know what they were doing, but he didn't want to miss it! He also had some visitors today at school. I wish I had been able to see them visiting and take some photos. I guess that will have to wait until party days! He is such a joy to be around and just so much fun to have at home. I am soaking up the last few weeks I have at home with my baby girl before I have to go back to work. I am not looking forward to going back to school. I like my job, actually, I love my job. I miss my friends there. I miss everything about my job, but I could stay home with this baby girl. I'm not sure that I felt this way when I went back after having Hayes. I can't remember! I do know that I made Daryk drop him off so I wouldn't cry every day.... I love being home with these kids! I couldn't do it every single day. All day long.... but I could do it part time. I could be a half day mom. :) Maybe I can convince Daryk of that one day.... start praying for me now. Here are some photos from our day today. Bath time fun always.

PAAAAANE

I see it, don't you?
Airplane sightings are a BIG deal at our house. Huge.

Sweet cheeks

Baby girl spread out all over her playmat this afternoon. She took up every inch of space she possibly could. She also grunted herself to sleep. Sweet baby girl!

Future Drumline?

Hayes got a new robe this week! (well... new to him.... from the awesome consignment sale I shop twice a year) He loved his old one and spent lots of time in it. It was way too small for him and he needed an upgrade! He was so excited about it. We also discovered that Hayes thinks the lysol/clorox wipes containers are for drumming? Rock on!

Typical Monday Night?

I feel like everyone should have as much fun as we do.

Today: up at 6:40--gave both children milk. Hayes and Elizabeth both back to sleep. Hayes slept another HOUR, praise Jesus! Elizabeth had her usual 3 hour routine--up for an hour after eating and then out for 2 hours. After that I made cheese biscuits and got ready to go out with the children and the husband and the mother in law. Target, Marshalls, Toys R Us, and the mall for a late lunch. **note** never go to the mall on a rainy holiday--CRAZY! After lunch we came home to a fun filled afternoon of tornado warnings and watches. Daryk ran back to Dville to return his Toys R Us purchase because it was broken! He got stuck there for about an hour waiting on the weather to pass. Hayes slept through the sirens and had a great nap! Elizabeth ate a bit and slept a bit as the day passed. I cleaned up the house a bit while everyone else napped! Daryk finally returned home, fed and bathed Hayes, and made dinner! Hayes ended his evening with his bike helmet and his cup/straw combo. Check him out!

Bayeee----Bayeee

Rhymes with Daddyyyyyy and he screams them both often! Hayes loves to call for his 'dayyyyeee' at all hours of the day, but especially first thing in the morning. He runs to find any random adult when the 'bayeee' starts to cry. He surely loves that girl!

Swiffer...cue the cheesy music please...

Hayes+Swiffer=Love. He thinks he can 'help' clean up. Usually we all just run the other way in fear of being beaten with the Swiffer!
