NC 4

Special requests fulfilled this week.  Wrapping up our summer trip to NC this week...
I'm only about 6 months behind with my blogging....

No big deal.
Here are the highlights from our beach trip this summer...

Libby and Hayes are fearless-ish of the ocean.
It was fun.
Spencer has not a care in the world except bolting STRAIGHT to the ocean.
Also, a problem...

Copious amounts of sunscreen needed for the day.
Packing up our lives to go an hour to the beach is NOT a huge feat!

NC 3

Yes, we took a trip in June.  I'm aware that it is November.  Judge me.
I've been busy and I'm just getting caught up.
Its fine.
Please note Libby's expression and pose.  Professional...

Ohmystars--I love baby girl's grin!

The Fireman's Museum was so neat!

The whole entire city of New Bern burnt to the ground at some point in time.  The museum outlined the whole story and gave us some insight into how difficult it was the get the flames under control and finally extinguished.  The older equipment was amazing to look at and see in person!

I love Libby

I love this one.
She is challenging and difficult.
She makes me question my sanity, daily.
She asks more questions than I would care to answer, EVER.
She likes to change her clothes about 950 times daily.
She prefers to wear dresses.  Ewww.
She likes all the bling, lipstick, and accessories she can find.
She loves with an intensity like nobody I've ever known.
I wish every human being had the manners she did.
So polite for a 4 year old...

For the love....
How can I not enjoy her?
Vibrant, joyful, vivacious, and loyal.

Those are the best adjectives for my favorite middle child.

NC 2

Uncle Buddy is a Marine.
Actually, he's our favorite Marine.
He let us borrow his helmet for pictures.
This is what cute looks like.

And again...

Just in case you doubted it.
This is cute again.

NC 1

In honor of Buddy and LeLe coming to visit us this weekend, I thought I would FINALLY get around to writing about our journey to North Carolina back in June.

Oops.

In June we spent a ridiculous amount of time in the car and drove to see my sister and brother in law.  We loaded up everything but the kitchen sink and traveled to the tiny town of New Bern NC for a few days.  On the way up there we stopped at CFA in some random spot in SC or NC and had dinner.  Our first stop was Charlotte and a visit with some dear friends who we used to babysit when they were MY kids' ages!

My girls.
Morgan--who was barely a year old when we first met her.
So sad and so happy she's all grown up!
Our dear friend Brandon had QUITE a time with Spencer.  She is so friendly and he was happy to help entertain while she played!  He made us an awesome breakfast of s'mores french toast, bacon, eggs, coffee, etc.  It was FABULOUS!  Charlotte was our halfway point and we spent the night with the Hess crew before we made the rest of the journey to New Bern.

Clearly Elizabeth enjoyed herself...

The. Suit.

It is purple.
It is heavy.
It equals so much more than a suit.
It equals an opportunity for my family.
It is time with my family.
It is an office in my home and not outside my home.
It is the chance to change women's lives and their skin.
It is financial freedom and debt relief.
It is my future.
It is a series of cars that I EARN the use of.
It is something that I am excited about.

And I think I look pretty good in it.
