You know, just playing with my YeeHaw Buzz in the buff.
 Surveying the toys.
Extremely intense toy to toy dialogue.
Still sporting the shiner... and now Mr Potato Head has joined the party.
These two are his favorites.
Hours are devoted to the toting around of these two.
He spends millions of minutes with them playing together.
They are best friends.
They are probably his best friends.
He tends to carry them everywhere.
They are currently with him in the bed.
One on either side.

Just goes to show you...

I should have written it down right then, but I didn't.
I can only remember that my baby girl busted her lip somehow...
I have no idea how it happened.

I hate it when I cannot remember things that I deem important.
Clearly, I have plenty of photos of it.
Just no recollection of how it actually happened.
She's not too bothered by the puffy lip.
And she probably got it climbing all through those chairs she's standing in now.

We went to the Zoo in June. It was busy.

Waiting patiently for the line to go away so we can get into the Zoo.

The orangutan family snoozing in their hammock.
The red panda bear, who is alarmingly tiny compared to a typical panda bear.
Exiting the Zoo.
I went DOWN the hill with the double stroller towards the zoo,
and then UP the hill wasn't NEARLY as much fun.
I'm sure my calorie burn was good though.
I pushed a 30 lbs stroller with 60 lbs of kid in it!

 Watching the gorillas play.
 Chatting with the gorillas.
Over across the way at Meerkat Manor.
Or Timon's house as he said...
He loved them all and found a NEW love for The Lion King after this trip.
I could have watched the gorillas walk around all day long.
They reminded me so much of Libby James and her crawling...
 A beautiful male Silverback gorilla.
 The giraffe family.
I would sufficiently say that Hayes enjoyed his trip to the zoo.

Hayes has asked EVERY SINGLE TIME we have gotten in the car since this zoo trip if we were going back to see the eeee mals at the zoo.
I'm so ready to take the trip again.
Maybe in the fall when the weather in Ga calms down again.
The 100+ temps are NOT zoo friendly!
I'm hoping we can go visit Yellow River Game Ranch sometime soon!

Toilet paper holder thingy...
Doubles as a horn...
He was playing us a song!

I missed these munchkins so much while I was gone!
I had to fight to keep it together when I went to pick them up.
I think Hayes learned about 90 new words while I was gone.
Elizabeth was just giddy to see me!
They both bounced around the house for about 10 minutes when I got there!
Love my babies!

Trophy Day

Stunt finished!
They worked really hard for 3 days to get there!
I am SO very proud of these girls!

My girls!
They took home two trophies from camp this week...
AND they were Camp Champions!
They also got Most Improved Squad!

I am so proud to be a part of this program.
I cannot WAIT to see what happens next!
And I love the ladies I coach with.
They are an amazing bunch of women, and we are really blessed!

Photography by Hayes

He took my phone and took about 300 pictures in rapid succession.
He was THRILLED that I let him play with it and take pictures.
He literally increased the picture count on my phone from about 270 to 400 in about 60 seconds.
He giggled the entire time.

Breakfast Dates

I got to have breakfast with these fine folks today.
Aren't they just fabulous!?

Yes, we have a slight phone addiction.
I can't really fuss though, as I'm taking these pictures WITH mine.

Isn't she lovely?
She was fascinated with the jelly and the sugar packets.

Get up and go...

This blog here, features a great video about a guy who makes everything I deal with seem like no big deal.  You should watch, donate, enjoy.

Twilight Zone

I was beginning to get a bit ill with the husband earlier this week.
I noticed while I was gone, never on my watch... never, that all of Elizabeth's pacifiers went missing.

Where were they going?
Why didn't he know where they were?
Doesn't he know I'm cheap and I don't want to buy $8.00 pacifiers every 2-3 weeks because we can't keep up with them at our house!?

What is happening to the things?

So, one morning I noticed that Hayes was having a come apart because his 'baanket' was stuck in the diaper disposal contraption.... I had an epiphany.
I concluded that the missing pacifiers were in there.
Upon further investigation, not only did I find the missing pacifiers, but some other miscellaneous toys as well.
Apparently Hayes was fascinated with the disappearing act.
I located a half dozen trains, several of Elizabeth's other toys, and some of her CLOTHES as well!
I just had to laugh.
I can't get mad at the kid... he's mine.

Fwying Leason with Momma

I'm not sure this is my best angle, but I sure do love that little boy.
And I love that he wants to exercise with me every day.
"Momma, I exercise with you today?"
He even tries to pick up his own hand weights.
After we exercise, he likes to fly.
During exercise he likes to climb on my back while I'm doing push ups.

He always says, "Look Momma!  I'm fwying with you!"
Melt my heart.

Manic Monday

Baby Buddha Belly.
She was dining on iTouch that day.
Sweet girl.

This kid.
Working on his 'yaptop' while I work on mine.
Discovered that the koolaid pitcher was a GREAT storage place for his legos.
Why hadn't I thought about that before now!?

This is a typical moment with Libby James Cochran.
She is all up in my junk trying to steal my phone.
I am trying to take cute pictures of her.
Never a quiet, still moment with that girl.
And you see below, that her brother has the same problem.
He's trying to show her how that awesome star light 'gwows' in the bathtub....
and she's so dang nosy that he can't because she tries to STEAL it!
Sneaky little one... sneaky.
